Donations for Withrow Graduating Seniors

caption follows

Many of you may have seen the recent article from The Enquirer about this year's graduating class at Withrow University High School. Unfortunately, because over 125 students owe fees for activities like field trips, and classroom materials like books, tablets, pens and paper, they will not receive their diplomas until they're able to pay off these fees.

If you would like to donate to the fund you can do so here. Please include a note indicating that your donation is in support of the 2023 class at Withrow University High School.

HPNC 2023 Annual Meeting

caption follows

On Tuesday May 9 at 7pm, the Hyde Park Neighborhood Council (HPNC) will hold its Annual Meeting. The meeting will be held at Clark Montessori High School at 3030 Erie Avenue.

The Annual Meeting will include:

  • Presentation of HPNC’s awards for “Outstanding Student of the Year” to students from our neighborhood schools, “Person of the Year” and “Community Builder”.
  • Vice Mayor Jan-Michele Kearney and Council Member Reggie Harris will join us to discuss housing, density, zoning and related proposals being discussed by the City.
  • Election of trustees. Trustees up for re-election this year are Sybil Mullin, Brianna Frappier-Schirmang, Dave Hapner, Tommy McEvoy, and Gary Wollenweber.

Please join us on Tuesday evening as we recognize Hyde Park’s students and community members, and as we discuss key issues that will shape Hyde Park and our city for years to come.
